How we help patients
For patients diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, and other life-threatening diseases, a stem cell transplant may be their best or only hope for a cure. Yet the majority of patients who need a transplant do not have a fully matched donor in their family. They have been dependent on national and international donor registries to find a match to save their life.
Unfortunately, due to a lack of sufficient matching donors, a patient dies waiting for a donor every three minutes just in America. At MatchDonor.org, we use our latest patent-pending technologies to help patients to find their match faster. We also provide one-on-one support to patients and their families throughout the transplant journey.
At MatchDonor.org we extract clinically-relevant high-resolution HLA genotype information from existing DNA data using AI-driven imputation technology. With our proprietary technologies, we impute (predict) HLA information from the raw SNP data, which is available to anyone who bought any popular DNA testing services (e.g. 23andMe, AncestryDNA, etc…).
